"Star Trek: Reunion": Team Universe

Star Trek: Reunion is a fan made, computer-animated, 10-part web series/serialized movie that revolves around the story of five Starfleet captains from different "generations" seeking collective revenge against an evil Klingon general who knocked off one their own. The herky-jerky nature of the otherwise gorgeously rendered imagery, as well as the rather robotic dialogue delivery, give the whole project a sort of Gerry Anderson Meets Gene Roddenberry vibe. But unlike Thunderbirds Are Go or even the modern satirical sendup Team America, this show takes it subject very seriously, including familiar series music and trademark sound effects that will please the base, while also offering general sci-fi buffs an entertaining mixture of outer space action, humanistic philosophy and personal drama, just like the franchise it is honoring, in all of its unauthorized (?) glory. <span style="background-color: #ebebeb; color: #333333; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18px;">
