'Kennedy's Court' Brings New Comedy Series to the Web Starring Jamie Kennedy
From the wafting cheese steak scents down the streets of his suburban Philadelphia childhood, to a successful career as a comedian, actor and rapper on the glittering boulevards of LA, Jamie Kennedy was, is, and always will be one funny dude. Now, the established Hollywood fixture takes his vaudevillian spectrum of talents from the television and big screen mediums to the web, as he teams up with Alphabird for his new project, 'Kennedy's Court.' The show draws inspiration from the absurdity of daytime television TV programing such as 'Judge Judy' and 'The People's Court,' only with Kennedy's own "alternative" brand of justice. The concept for the show initially appeared as a segment on his show, 'The Jamie Kennedy Experiment'. Kennedy joins with online content producer and the self proclaimed "anti network" Alphabird to produce a season's worth of shows for the new web series of 'Kennedy's Court.' The web based model for the show provides a great launch pad to either develop an online following and continue the project on sites like Placevine and Youtube, or present television networks a program with an already established audience.
The veteran entertainer has not abandoned traditional production mediums entirely and keeps his foot in Hollywood's door. He stars in 'Lost and Found in Armenia', set for released later this year.
